Ambassador Program

What is an ambassador, who is it for, what do we look for and expect from you, how do you become one, and what do you get?

This blog post is for people who hear about sponsorship, want sponsorship, but don't really understand the realms of it. Sponsorship in any regard is a business transaction. The transaction requires you to improve the business in some capacity i.e. grow awareness and drive sales. The most important part of being an ambassador to a business is that you are known enough within a community to meet the objectives set by the business. For us, we want to see an increase in brand awareness and sales.

A few things you need to obtain before you go out asking for sponsorship:

  • You need to have an audience to enable you to promote the products that are valuable to the business. For our business we want an audience that we potentially haven't hit - maybe it's a country or province we haven't had a lot of exposure in or maybe you have a great social media following.
  • You have a plan on how you will promote a business. You have trialed methods that create great engagement that you know will help promote the business.
  • You have become trustworthy and valued part of your community.

What is an ambassador?

An ambassador positively promotes a brand to help grow brand awareness and drive sales for a business.

Who is it for?

Our Ambassador program is for up-and-coming profiles. For riders & athletes with a smaller following and influence in the community. Usually these athletes have a following of 1000-2500 on media accounts.

What do we look for?

When we are assessing potential profiles to become part of TEAM BRAVE the first thing we look at is your following on social media. This is because it is one of the most tangible ways we can see how you can directly impact our company.

The second thing we always go through and is just as important is the engagement level on what you are posting - how many people engage with your content and how many of them are potential customers to us.

Thirdly, we look into your results, ranking, and how much you get out in the community. This is a huge part of brand awareness. We want to see people getting out in our community on a very regular basis.

What we expect from you and what you get:

Our Ambassador program is based on a points system, the more you promote us, the higher the engagement level the more points you receive to redeem discounts and FREE items.

For example:

Our product reviews, engagement posts (likes) over 200, over 5000 views, or a specific brand appreciation post, are all worth 50 points each:

To obtain 15% off you have to receive 500 points

To obtain 20% off you have to receive 750 points

To obtain 1 x FREE Breeches you have to recieve 1,000 points.

A pair of pants is worth $214.99 which is worth 9 hours of work at minimum wage. This is how the points system is calculated to give you an idea.

How do I become one?

We NEVER sponsor anyone who doesn't want to invest in our company first. All sponsored riders are loyal customers of our products. We only sponsor people who we know are committed to the brand! The best way to get our attention is by purchasing our product and showing us how you would promote us. This could be that you purchase a pair of pants and do a product review on it and tag us in it. That way we get to check out your profile, see how you make content and how many people engage with it, and get to know you as a rider. Keep tagging us and mentioning us so we can become familiar with you and your commitment to the brand!

We do not consider emails from people who are not former customers. This is our most important policy! Just remember - we can't sponsor every athlete, and regardless of whether you are selected or not you are still 100% apart of Team Brave!
